One month ago, we went in Copenhagen for 3
day. We’ve profited on this week-end to visit the center of this city which was
unknown for us. We have been rejoined by Thomas and Alexis of Breda for the Erasmus(They are from also of ESAIP!) who are come passed
the week-end with us.
In the first time, we’ve strolled in the
streets in learning to know this city then we have visited the museum of
Carlsberg situated just next to the company’s main factory. Here we’ve found
the first monuments to the glory of Carlsberg.
This museum is interesting because, it show the evolution of this
company and permits to understand the status of Mr. Jacobsen and his
omnipresence in the center of Copenhagen and the any monuments at her effigy.
He has also her museum of art including notably paintings by Van Gogh.
The Friday evening, we are arrived at the youth
hostel that we had reserved before the departure. We have been pleasantly
surprised by the cordial welcome and the originality of this place. The youth
hostel ‘Sleep in heaven’ provides work for young stranger
came to visit the Denmark. Thus, we’ve
welcome by three Australians. people who come here are mainly young people from different countries we have also
made some
nice meeting!

The rest of week-end, we have principally
visited the center of the city where there are many beautiful monuments like
cathedrals, theater, opera, botanic garden, castle’s king of Denmark and his
garden and museum of course. Copenhagen has the advantages and the gaits of
capital but has not too much big and the places to discover are several and
don’t necessitate many hours of walking.
It was really a good trip with many beautiful
meetings & moments. It’s no doubt one of better place in Denmark both for architecture as for the myriad of things to see and do.
